Homes in Hidden Lakes range from 2,000 square feet to over 5,000 square feet. Homes are both single story and two-story. Most homes are located on 1/4 to 1 acre lots. Homes were built between 1977-1990 and were all custom homes. Many homes have pools. Home sales in 2002 ranged from $450,000 to one million.

 Hidden Lakes is set up as a large loop divided into East Hidden Lakes Drive and West Hidden Lakes Drive. In addition to the main entrance on Hidden Lakes Drive, there are three streets (Haley Drive, Jon Way and Gina Lane), five courts off the main loop (James Place, Tracy Terrace, Robert Court, Kirk Court, and Michael Court), and two courts off Haley Drive (Adam Court and Chris Court).

Homes and yards within the community are held to standards found in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The Architectural Committee reviews all requests for house painting, roofs, major landscaping, and remodeling. Homeowners are expected to follow the CC&Rs to help our community maintain it's beautiful appearance.

Hidden Lakes has two locations of entry/exit and is a non-gated community. The roads are owned and maintained by the county. The roads also allow access to Hidden Creek, a small community of 29 homes located behind Hidden Lakes. Hidden Creek is not part of the Hidden Lakes Homeowner's Association.

Hidden Lakes is governed by a Homeowners Association and "Every Owner of a Lot shall be a Member of the Association". The Association's Regular Assessments (dues) for 2009, paid quarterly, are $147.
