Recreation

Folsom Lake

Folsom Lake is our "backyard." The east side of Hidden Lakes abuts Folsom Lake State Recreation Area and getting to Folsom Lake is a beautiful walk from all homes within the community. Folsom SRA offers swimming, boating, fishing, equestrian trails, hiking and biking trails, and camping. The paved American River Bike Trail begins in Folsom SRA and runs for 30 miles into Sacramento. The park also includes Lake Natoma, downstream from Folsom Lake, which is popular for crew races, sailing, kayaking and other aquatic sports.

Snow Sports

If you like playing in the snow, the Sierra mountains offer many options for snow play. Although not a complete list, below are links to some of the larger ski resorts. Several resorts are reachable in a mere 1 hour and 20 minutes with good road conditions. Others are within another 30 minutes.

Golf

There are 46 golf courses listed for the greater Sacramento Area on Sacramento.com. Nearby we have both public and private courses. Listed below are courses in Granite Bay, Roseville, Rocklin, and Loomis. Courses in El Dorado Hills, Lincoln, Auburn, and Sacramento are also nearby.

Professional Sports

If you want to watch basketball, catch a Sacramento Kings (NBA) game or a Sacramento Monarchs (WNBA) game at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento. Sacramento is also home to the Triple-A baseball team, the Sacramento River Cats. The River Cats play at Raley Field.
